Episode 006 - A Son of Quraysh III [Episode Guide]

Caravan Trade

The (Caravan) Journey of the Winter and the Summer

Apologies for the image being quite small, regardless of that the contents is good. As you can see the red lines show the common/major routes for the summer journey north. The dark blue lines show the common/major routes for the winter journey south. The light green lines show other caravan trade routes. This image is quite good because the different routes are colour coded, for a clearer view refer to the image below which has a higher resolutions than the image above. It shows the major caravan trade routes however it isn't colour coded.

(Muhammad, Prophet and Statesman - William Montgomery Watt)

I have included this map so that you can see the location of Bosra and the Byzantine provincial borders. Bosra was the capital of the province of Arabia. (Witnesses to a World Crisis - James Howard-Johnston)

Discovery of Zamzam

I've included this image to show how close the well is to the Ka'aba
